Dermaplaning provides exfoliation by effectively removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells. Not only does this provide a fresh canvas for make-up application but also reveals smoother and brighter skin underneath, giving the complexion a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.
How Does It Work?
Dermaplaning is performed with a surgical scalpel by a trained professional in a controlled and sterile environment. It is commonly done alone or used in combination with other skincare treatments such as face masks or microneedling, helping the treatment penetrate more effectively. By removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells, dermaplaning can help improve the texture of the skin, making it smoother and more even.
After the procedure, you will get a choice of topical treatments, serums and moisturizers which the freshly exfoliated skin will absorb better. This increased absorption can maximise the effectiveness of these products, allowing them to penetrate more deeply into the skin and provide optimal results.

What to expect:
There is generally no down time after dermaplaning; you can carry on with your normal day.
Just make sure you follow aftercare instructions given to you by your practitioner.
Dermaplaning appointments are generally very quick; treatments shouldn't last more than 20 minutes.
You may however choose to combine the treatment with a facial deep tissue massage or microneedling.
The length of time between appointments varies. A skins cell life cycle is about 30 days and therefore we recommend this treatment no more than once in a 30 day period.
Treatments are fully personalised to you and what you're looking to achieve from your treatment.
The treatment options start at £30.
